     A native of Gastonia, born as Pierrieaiil Lamar McElhaney, Pierre has come to be one of the most influential young men in this area. A 1993 graduate of the infamous Ashbrook Senior High,  he is no stranger to his dislike of the rivals across town!  After graduation, Pierre went on to study at Johnson & Wales University in Charleston, SC. 

     Following his dream of making it big, Pierre left college to pursue his acting/singing career.  He traveled the world and performed on countless stages, starring in Gospel Stage plays such as "My Grandmother Prayed for Me," "A Fool for Love," & "Honey I Got Laid off", just to name a few.  He also showcased his vocal abilities as a background singer for Johnny Gill, & Dottie Peoples. As an acclaimed actor, Pierre has turned his talents towards Directing hit performances such as "Great White Throne of Judgement," "Armed & Dangerous," "No Longer the Victim," & God of A Second Chance." 

     He left the glitz and glamour to devote his time to the Kingdom!  Rev. McElhaney has wholeheartedly devoted himself to making a difference in the lives of youth and young adults, who are many times overlooked in today's society.  He served faithfully as a Youth Pastor for over 10 yrs.  He extended his talents at St. John Missionary Baptist Church, Gastonia NC under the direction of Dr. Darial A. Jackson (7yrs) and Next Level Ministries, Charlotte NC under the direction of Dr. Charles E. Jacobs (3yrs).

     Pastor McElhaney's heart goes out to his friends and family that still don't know JESUS for themselves.  He prays that God will prick their hearts so, that they would be able to allow HIM in!  Pastor P's thought is to "just be you!"  You don't have to fake to be in Love with the Lord!  It starts with a renewed mind!  Romans 12: 1-2 says "I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that ye present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God, which is your reasonable service. And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God."  It is about changing the way you think about things, the way you handle yourself in things, and in doing that......Be in the will of God!

     A few words that best describe Pastor P....radical, annointed, called, gifted, exceptional, hilarious, devoted, souled-out!, spirit of excellence, loving, passionate, ...

     Pastor P is thankful to God for his Rib, "Da most Beautiful Girl in da world" Elder Tjuana McElhaney.  They have shared over ten glorious years of marriage, and can't wait to see what the Lord has in store for the next 10!  They are the proud parents of Zachary LaQuandre (15) and Neves Tjuan (4). God has allowed them to share in the rearing of a shining star, their God-daughter, Simone Monique (19).
